Signing into my TV while on wired connection.

I have a 55” Crystal UHD and after initial setup of tv without smartThings app (since it does not load) I am unable to login to my samsung account. There are various areas on the TV that let me select to login however none of the selections do anything to include not even giving error codes. I am currently wired via ethernet from router to TV and have had no success with logging in. Also as stated, the SmartThings app does not populate anything when scanning QR code during initial setup so I had to go with the TV remote setup. Not sure what to do. Most people have been saying restart the TV or plug into router which I've done both and neither work. Please help.

@NewHereIneedHelp: I'm sorry to hear that you're having some trouble registering your Samsung account to your TV. At this stage, please can you confirm the model number of your TV? This can be found on the sticker on the back of the device, or in Settings > Support > About This TV. 

Please can you also confirm what happens when you attempt to sign in to your Samsung account? For instance, is the option greyed out, or do you get an error message/notification?

Model code is UN55TU700DFXZA

every instance when selecting sign in where I would then input username and password. The screen then goes black as if it’s about to do something then nothing happens. No error codes, no sounds nothing.

@NewHereIneedHelp: Thank you. Have you tried checking other web based features on the TV, such as signing in to and using a streaming service, to ensure that your connection is strong/stable? If you head to Settings > General > Network > Open Network Settings > Wired, is your router showing as connected?

Yes, other web based apps were working normally. Additionally for some reason while sitting here after sending the model code the tv randomly popped up the user and login screen and I was able to get in finally.

@NewHereIneedHelp: That's great news! :smiling-face: You were potentially experiencing a temporary server issue, however it's good to know that you have been able to register your Samsung account (especially as the account is required to access some apps and features).
